Services: USDA Commodities 2 to 3 times a year, groceries if they have extra from commodities, assistance with
heating past due bills (electric or gas)
HAND-UP PROJECT 912-427-7797 - is for recently unemployed or underemployed people who need some help
getting back on their feet. Funds are available for housing, utilities, transportation, childcare, etc.

Clothes Closet with some very nice clothes. Parkway is a certified Food Bank - with both State and Federal subsidy.
We have SNAP and USDA Foods. To receive SNAP, you must (a.) be a Georgia Resident with a Photo ID, and (b.)
prove need with either a Medicaid, WIC card, etc. USDA is less stringent. Declare your need, and sign a simple form
and we can assist with Federal Food products. If you don't qualify for either of these programs, we have alternate
food sources as well.

Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP)- This program provides homelessness prevention
assistance to households who would otherwise become homeless. This program also provides assistance to rapidly
re-house persons who are homeless as defined by Federal law and HUD. Services provided under this program
include rent, utility assistance, rent and utility deposits, credit repair costs, moving costs, and legal fees associated
with eviction. HPRP is a Federally funded program. Call (912) 538-8203 on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9AM-
11AM for a phone assessment.

Administers the Salvation Army’s Project SHARE provides emergency assistance to Georgians who need help with
basic necessities – housing, food, medical care and utility services. The program assists the elderly, the disabled,
the unemployed, the sick and others who are experiencing financial hardship.
