Thrift store, social services, utility assistance
Project SHARE provides emergency assistance to Georgians who need help with basic necessities – housing, food,
medical care and utility services. The program assists the elderly, the disabled, the unemployed, the sick and others
who are experiencing financial hardship.
Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP)- This program provides homelessness prevention
assistance to households who would otherwise become homeless. This program also provides assistance to rapidly
re-house persons who are homeless as defined by Federal law and HUD. Services provided under this program
include rent, utility assistance, rent and utility deposits, credit repair costs, moving costs, and legal fees associated
with eviction. HPRP is a Federally funded program. Call (912) 538-8203 on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9AM-
11AM for a phone assessment.

This program helps people coming out of prison find a job. Has a Federal Bond program that bonds them so an
employer has an incentive to hire.
