Permanent Housing
Placement

What is Resettlement?

The permanent housing placement program or resettlement
assists you with rental deposits, utility deposits, and first month's
rent.   With our help you find an apartment or home in the
community. Once you have moved into your apartment, we can
provide services like case management. We can help you
organize a budget and can help you work
through any problems
you may have living on your own.

You can stay in your apartment or home as long as you pay the
rent and follow the landlord's rules. You can move to another
apartment or home once your lease is up. However, you are not
"eligible" for financial assistance with resettlement from us.
"It's in walking distance to the
grocery store.  The
neighborhood is nice.  I live in a
secure apartment building.   The
landlord is really nice.  However, I
don't like some of the people that
live in the building.  You have to
put up with a lot of different
types of people."
