Tenant-Based Long Term
Program

What is a Tenant-Based Long Term
Program?

The tenant-based long term program is a permanent
housing program for persons with HIV. That means you
can stay there as long as you pay your portion of the rent
and follow the case plan.

There’s lots of support from staff and case managers.
Like the transitional program, the tenant-based long term
program has a case plan that you must follow.

There are several eligibility requirements, such as passing
an extensive home inspection, and priority is given to
families.

The tenant-based long term program may be a great
place for you if you are looking for a place with a lot of
support and help.
"It feels like home.  We have our own
space.  There is structure.  I am HIV
positive and there are programs to help us.
Groups and meetings give us structure.
The staff treat me and my family with
dignity and respect.  My family and I have
been through a lot."
