What is "housing eligibility"?
When you talk to housing programs, you will hear the term "housing eligibility." Each housing program is funded to serve persons in a particular housing situation. For example, the facility-based program can only serve persons who are homeless.
The housing assistance you decide to accept may limit what is available to you in the future. For example, you can only use a resettlement program once in a lifetime. Make sure to ask.
If you live in an apartment now but need help with paying for rent or if you need money to pay for a security deposit and rent on a new apartment you can call Comprehensive AIDS Resource Encounter.
