ups to medically uninsured whose income ranges up to 200% above the Federal Poverty Line.

Area Christians Together in Service Inc. (ACTS)
912-489-4588 Haven’t received financial aid in the past rolling year. Preference given for unexpected loss of
income those not previously served and families with children in home. Rental assistance, food pantry, clothing
closet. Open Wednesdays and Fridays from 9AM-11AM. Food pantry limit is three times a year with up to a week's
worth of groceries for a family. Will provide more or make referrals to other agencies for emergency cases.
Concerted Services
912-489-1604 Operates Meals on Wheels, serves lunch to the elderly, distributes government commodities. Hosts
Legal Aid on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays and Fridays of each month.
HAND-UP PROJECT - is for recently unemployed or underemployed people who need some help getting back on
their feet. Funds are available for housing, utilities, transportation, childcare, etc.
Homebound Services
912-764-9500 Provides homemaker assistance for those in need because of poor health. Provides assistance in
obtaining prescriptions at affordable costs.
