C.A.R.E. is a non-profit human service agency of trained volunteers with one purpose:  to respond to the
AIDS epidemic with prevention services and support services to those that are affected and infected by
HIV/AIDS.

C.A.R.E.'s services are available to all that need them without regard to age, race, national origin, sex,
sexual orientation, economic class or physical limitation.  All services are without charge.

C.A.R.E. accepts financial support from the community at large.  Gifts can be acknowledged in honor or
memory of others.  C.A.R.E. is incorporated in the state of Georgia as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization.  
Donations are tax deductible.

CARE, Inc. is a United Way participating agency that receives grants from United Way of South Georgia;
the Georgia Department of Community Affairs' Supportive Housing     Program; Ware County Board of
Health programs; HIV Prevention Initiative Grant  Programs; Georgia Department of Human Resources
Prevention Services branch; pharmaceutical grant programs; and fund-raising events.

The purpose of C.A.R.E. is to provide…
  1. Direct and indirect services to or for persons living with AIDS and HIV infection.
  2. Auxiliary services to person living with AIDS, their families and friends.
  3. Case management and housing assistance to prevent homelessness to persons living with HIV and
    their families.
  4. Prevention and education programs to the community on HIV/AIDS to provide an understanding of
    safer behavior and to decrease fear in the community.
